There are many tools and resources that can help make daily life with Parkinson’s disease (PD) easier, but only if you know about them and know how to access them. ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: Dr. Sarah Cohen

Sarah Cohen is the Administrator of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Center for Parkinson’s Disease. Sarah graduated from Columbia University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2007 and worked at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital as a staff physical therapist for over 10 years. Sarah designed and launched the Center for Parkinson’s Disease in September 2017. She was named winner of the 2019 Degenerative Diseases Special Interest Group Service Award in recognition of her “tireless pursuit of improving the lives of individuals with Parkinson’s disease who live on the East End of Long Island.” She lives in Sag Harbor with her family.
