ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: Dr. Janet Rucker

Dr. Janet Rucker is the Bernard A. and Charlotte Marden Professor of Neurology and Ophthalmology at New York University School of Medicine, where she also serves as the Division Chief and the Fellowship Director of Neuro-Ophthalmology. After medical school at St. Louis University in Missouri, she completed a Neurology residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and a fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology with Dr. Nancy Newman at Emory. Her primary research interest is abnormal eye movements in neurological disease. She currently serves as an editorial board member for the Journal of Neuro-Ophthalmology and has served on the Board of the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society.
