Optimism Walk – October 14th, TCC-SE
What is an Optimism Walk?
It is a nationwide movement to mobilize and inspire people to step up and put an end to Parkinson’s disease.
An important and fun-filled event that raises much-needed funds and awareness for Parkinson’s disease.
The event features a short, 0.25-mile walk, family-friendly entertainment and activities, including music by the Brothers Lazaroff, face painting and a balloon artist, light refreshments, and the opportunity to visit others with PD and vendors who serve them.
Why Walk?
Because every six minutes someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in the US.
The more funds we raise, the more people we can help in our local communities.
