APDA Parkinson’s Good Start Program is a program for individuals recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (within the past three years) and their family members. Participants attend two sessions and receive information on diagnosis, medication management, and other strategies that promote wellness. The important role of exercise is highlighted as well as the opportunity to meet members of the healthcare team.
