ABOUT OUR HOST: Jacqueline “Jacq” Gregg
Truly a “Jacq” of all trades, Jacq Gregg has been a restaurant pantry artist, a telemarketer, a babysitter, a college professor (though one can argue that those last two jobs are one and the same), a Gymboree instructor, an office manager, a lab technician, and a retail sales associate, just to name a few. But through it all, she has always identified herself as a theatre artist. As an actor, she has many creative outlets. She has performed on stage in classical and contemporary roles. In television commercials, she has peddled everything from home goods to investment banking. Back when soap operas were being filmed in New York City, All My Children and One Life to Live were occasional employers. She is most proud of her work with Only Make Believe, a not-for-profit bringing theatre to children in hospitals and other care facilities.
Jacq is passionate about her family and friends and enjoys all that New York has to offer; arts and entertainment, culture, food, food, and food. When not being a thespian, and to balance her love of all things food, she can be found running the streets or parks of NYC, training for one road race or another. She also uses her running to raise money for various non-profits and to make room for the huge stack of pancakes that she devours after every race.
