ACADEMIC YEAR 2010-2011 |
|
The American Parkinson Disease Association will be accepting applications for the Medical Student Summer Fellowships for 2011. Applications are to be submitted electronically by January 31, 2011. The American Parkinson Disease Association continues to fund for Research Grants, Postdoctoral Fellowships, the Cotzias Memorial Fellowships, the Roger Duvoisin Research Grants and Centers for Advanced Research. You may contact Michele Popadynec, RN, MPS at 800 223-2732 ext. 118 or via email at www.mpopadynec@apdaparkinson.org for more information. |
Medical Students Summer Fellowships |
The APDA Summer Fellowships are designed to provide a stipend to enable medical students to perform supervised laboratory or clinical research designed to clarify our understanding of Parkinson’s disease, its nature, manifestations, etiology or treatment. It is hoped this experience will stimulate a student’s interest in future research in the field of Parkinson’s disease and related disorders. This is a Fellowship of $4,000 for a three(3) month summer commitment. |
